What Liquid Rhinoplasty Can and Cannot Do
The most important thing to understand is the difference between reshaping and reducing. Liquid rhinoplasty can camouflage a dorsal bump by adding filler above and below it to create a straighter profile line. It can lift and support a tip that points downward, balance a mild asymmetry, and soften a small dent or irregularity left by trauma or a previous operation. The change is subtle but often makes the nose look straighter and more harmonious in photos.
What it cannot do is make your nose physically smaller. Because filler only adds volume, it is the wrong tool for anyone who wants a narrower or more petite nose — that still requires surgery. It also cannot correct a deviated septum or improve breathing; those are functional problems, and filler may even worsen them if it presses on internal structures. How the Procedure Works
The appointment is short. After cleansing the skin and applying a numbing cream, the injector places tiny amounts of hyaluronic acid filler at carefully chosen points along the bridge, tip, or base of the nose. Most treatments take 15 to 30 minutes, and you can see the result in a mirror straight away.
There is very little downtime. Mild redness, tenderness, or small bruises can appear but usually settle within a day or two, and most people return to work the same day. Because the hyaluronic acid filler is not permanent, the shape can also be partly dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase if you are unhappy or if a problem develops.

Is Liquid Rhinoplasty Safe?
In experienced hands, liquid rhinoplasty is considered safe, but the nose is one of the highest-risk areas of the face for filler. The blood vessels that supply the skin here are small and easily compressed. If filler is injected into or around a vessel, it can block blood flow and, in rare cases, cause skin damage or — very rarely — visual problems. This is exactly why the treatment should only ever be performed by an experienced medical injector who knows nasal anatomy and keeps hyaluronidase ready.
National bodies such as the American Society of Plastic Surgeons stress that non-surgical nose reshaping is a medical procedure, not a beauty-salon service, and should be treated with the same care as any injectable placed near critical vessels. Liquid Rhinoplasty vs Surgical Rhinoplasty: Cost and Results
Results from filler last roughly 6 to 18 months, depending on the product used and how quickly your body breaks it down. Surgical rhinoplasty is permanent but involves an operation, general anaesthetic, and weeks of recovery. Many patients start with filler and later choose surgery once they are confident about the shape they want.
Cost is another difference. In the UK a non-surgical nose job typically costs around £400–£700, and in the US roughly $600–$1,500 per session, while surgical rhinoplasty runs into several thousand pounds or dollars. Can filler make my nose smaller?

Is it reversible?
