When heavy sweating is safe again and why to wait.
Sweating after a hair transplant: not the sweat but the moisture, salt, friction and blood-pressure spikes are the problem.
Heavy sweating should be avoided in the first weeks because sweat and friction can irritate new grafts.
Avoid intense sweat for 2–3 weeks; light activity is fine sooner. See exercise after a transplant.
Sweat itself does not destroy grafts. The problem is the combination: moisture, salt, bacteria and friction on an open wound – and the blood-pressure spikes that worsen swelling and encourage bleeding during exercise. The risk is folliculitis: inflamed pustules around individual hairs that can cost grafts.

| Week 2–4 | Light movement (walking) once cleared, no intense training |
| From week 4 | Usually back to cardio; sauna, pool, sea only once cleared |

Have it medically checked for fever, increasing redness with warmth, pus-like discharge or pain that increases rather than decreases.
Folliculitis is treatable when reported early. See itching and aftercare.
