Turkey is a major centre for rhinoplasty, mainly because of the price difference driven by labour costs, exchange rate and case volume. The technique is the same as elsewhere – what matters, as with any procedure abroad, is who operates and how aftercare is organised.
Planning the trip realistically
A typical stay is a few days: examination, operation, first check and removal of the external splint after about a week – or a shorter first check with later aftercare at home. You travel back with a splint, swelling and bruising. The final result appears only after up to a year.
The questions that beat the location
Is the surgeon a qualified specialist in plastic or ENT surgery? How many noses per day? Is breathing assessed too? Who is the contact after you return, and what happens if a revision is needed (rate about 3%)? A clinic without clear answers is a red flag.
