How to read clinic reviews wisely before booking.
Genuine reviews across multiple platforms reveal a clinic’s consistency and patient care.

Look for detailed, recent reviews on Google, Trustpilot and independent sites, plus real before/after results. See choosing a clinic.
Consistency and follow-up care matter more than a single rating.
A five-star average tells you about a clinic’s marketing. The three-star reviews tell you about the clinic. They are the least likely to be solicited or fabricated, and they usually contain the specific detail that matters: the margin, the bite, the dentist never met.
Read the one-star reviews for the clinic’s response, not the complaint. Defensiveness is a data point.
A Hollywood smile photographs superbly on day seven. It reveals itself at year three, when the gum recedes a millimetre, the margin darkens, or a crown debonds.
So search reviews written two or more years after treatment. They are rare, and they are worth ten recent ones. A clinic with no long-term reviews may simply be new — or may not retain patients long enough to receive any.
Look for repetition. Several people describing crowns where veneers were promised. Several mentioning a dentist they never met. Several describing pain on biting afterwards. One such review is noise; four is a signal.
Look also for what nobody mentions. If no review mentions a try-in appointment, there probably was not one. See the truth about Turkey teeth.
Clusters posted within days of each other. Identical phrasing and identical vocabulary. Reviewers with a single review, ever. Effusive praise for the hotel and transfer, silence about the dentistry. Photographs that are all “after” and never “before”.
Also treat perfect scores with suspicion. Real clinics have a slow patient, a delayed laboratory, a return visit. Perfection is a marketing artefact.
They cannot tell you the implant brand, whether imaging preceded the price, whether a specialist did the surgery, or what the warranty excludes. Those come from written answers, not testimonials.
Use reviews to build suspicion, then verify with documents. See how to choose a clinic and accreditation.
