Fixed temporary teeth in a single day in suitable cases.
With techniques like All-on-4, suitable patients can leave with fixed temporary teeth the same day as implant placement.

Implants are placed and a temporary fixed bridge fitted; the final teeth follow after healing. See All-on-4.
Depends on bone and gum health.
It is a genuine, well-documented protocol. On the day of surgery, implants placed with sufficient primary stability can carry a temporary fixed bridge, kept deliberately out of heavy bite. You leave with fixed teeth.
What is not real is the implication that treatment is finished. It is not.
The bridge fitted on day one is provisional — usually acrylic, designed to be adjusted and replaced. The permanent prosthesis follows after osseointegration, typically 3–6 months later, on a second trip.
Bone must grow into the implant surface before it can bear full chewing load. That is biology, not policy. See the healing timeline.
Immediate loading requires enough bone density to achieve firm primary stability at surgery, measurable at placement. It requires healthy soft tissue, no active infection, controlled general health — and it is compromised by smoking and by heavy bruxism.
A CT scan decides. Where bone is poor, loading immediately increases the risk of early failure. The honest clinic will sometimes say no — and that refusal is a quality signal.
Chairside milling (CEREC and similar) genuinely produces a ceramic crown in one appointment on an existing tooth. That is not implant treatment, and the two are frequently blurred in advertising.
“Same-day teeth” on implants means a temporary bridge. “Same-day crown” on a natural tooth means a finished crown. Ask which is being offered.
“Permanent implants and final crowns in three to five days.” Either a temporary is being sold as final, or osseointegration is being ignored. Neither is acceptable, and both are common in compressed holiday packages.
Ask directly: “Is the bridge I fly home with temporary or permanent, and when is the final one fitted?” The answer tells you what kind of clinic you are dealing with. See All-on-4 and how long to stay.
