Removes cheek fat pads for a more contoured face.
Buccal fat removal slims a fuller face – only sensible with pronounced pads, and done conservatively.
Buccal fat removal takes out the buccal fat pads and slims the cheeks for a more defined, contoured face.

A round face with full cheeks. A small intraoral procedure — no external scars.
Mild swelling for a few days; quick return to normal.
Buccal fat removal partly removes the buccal fat pads to make a fuller face look slimmer and emphasise the cheekbones and jawline. The procedure is done through a small incision inside the mouth – with no external scar.
Suitable only for people with genuinely pronounced buccal pads and a round face. The key warning: the buccal pads give the face fullness in youth. Removed too aggressively or too early, the face can later look hollow and aged with the natural ageing process. Less is almost always more here.
Removed fat does not come back. A conservative, experienced hand is therefore decisive. A responsible surgeon declines the procedure for an already slim face rather than following a trend. Beware of clinics offering it as routine for everyone.
The procedure takes about 30–45 minutes under local anaesthetic or sedation. Cheek swelling lasts 1–2 weeks; the final result appears once swelling has fully settled (a few weeks to months). See cosmetic surgery in Turkey.
