Lip fillers with hyaluronic acid add volume to the lips, define the lip border and even out asymmetries. The result is immediate and – a safety advantage – dissolvable with an enzyme if needed.
Natural rather than overfilled

Before a first lip treatment it is worth discussing realistic goals: a natural result respects the proportion between upper and lower lip and the face shape. Blood-thinning agents should be paused as advised to reduce bruising. Swelling and small bruises are normal for a few days afterwards. Those prone to cold sores should mention it beforehand, as an injection can trigger an outbreak and is then treated preventively. Fillers are dissolvable, which allows adjustment if the result is not as hoped.
